Information on cookies

Radonova’s website uses cookies. In accordance with the Electronic Communications Act, everyone visiting a website that uses cookies must be given access to information that the website contains cookies and the purpose for which these are used. The user must also have the ability to consent to whether cookies may be stored on the device, which can take place through settings in the browser used by the user.

Which cookies are used?

Radonova’s website uses two different types of cookies

Permanent cookies

These consist of a text file stored on your device

Temporary cookies

These are temporary cookies that are only stored temporarily and that disappear when you close your browser.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies that send us information on the users for three different purposes:

  1. For web analysis. For example to obtain information on how visitors interact with the website.
  2. For advertising. With the aid of cookies, we can adapt advertising to suit surfing behaviour.
  3. To improve the customer experience. For example, in order to create personal offers, remember the contents of a customer’s basket and enable a range of services and functions.

Cookies of this type, which are described above, are called first-party cookies. That means that the cookie has the same domain name sender as the website, in other words Radonova is the sender.

Google Analytics

Radonova uses this tracking tool for analysis of visitors to our website. We have an agreement with Google which guarantees that users remain anonymous and that no identifiable information is sent or shared. We save what we collect in Google Analytics for 26 months. Read more about how Google Analytics uses cookies.

Hotjar

Hotjar analyses how users navigate pages on the site using the mouse pointer. Visitors’ mouse pointers are recorded in order to analyse how the visitors interact with the website. The users’ data is anonymised and there is no unique identifier for visitors. Read more about how Hotjar uses cookies.

Zopim (Zendesk)

Radonova uses Zendesk to enable us to provide our visitors with livechat on our website. Zendesk needs two cookies to function: one to save a livechat ID and one to save settings on disabling livechat. Read more about how Zendesk uses cookies.

In addition to these cookies, we also use third-party cookies that mean that our partners place their cookies on our website.

Third-party cookies

Radonova cooperates with operators that place their third-party cookies on our website. Information collected from these cookies can be shared with Radonova but can also be used for other purposes. This is controlled by each operator that is responsible for it and delivers it.

The following operators use cookies to direct advertising and collect statistics that form supporting data for payment for advertising. Radonova manages this collaboration, which is governed by an agreement with each party. Read more about how the various parties use cookies:

This is used to improve targeted marketing on Facebook by charting visitors’ interaction with our website.

How do I refuse cookies?

If you do not accept cookies, you can configure your browser to prevent cookies being stored on your device. All cookies are then switched off. However, temporary cookies are necessary to allow you to navigate Radonova’s website. The website will not work as intended if temporary cookies are not accepted.

If you do not want these operators to collect anonymous data from you via third-party cookies, you can either block cookies from third parties in your browser or deregister from third party cookies from each operator here:
